Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and CoachLive, operated by [Company legal entity] (“CoachLive,” “we,” or “us”), governing your use of the CoachLive apps and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account, unless a parent or legal guardian consents and supervises use where the law allows.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

CoachLive supports two primary roles, each with responsibilities:

• Coaches are independent providers who use CoachLive to deliver programs, meal guidance, and live sessions. Coaches are solely responsible for the advice, programming, and services they provide; for holding any qualifications, certifications, licenses, and insurance required in their jurisdiction; and for their own tax and business obligations. CoachLive is a platform, not the employer of any coach, and does not provide coaching itself.
• Clients use CoachLive to train with a coach. Clients are responsible for providing accurate health information to their coach, exercising within their own limits, and seeking medical advice where appropriate. See Health disclaimer.

The coaching relationship is between the coach and the client. CoachLive is not a party to it and does not supervise, endorse, or guarantee any coach or any outcome.

Some features and coaching services require payment. Prices, subscription terms, and billing cycles are shown before you purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, and by purchasing you authorize the applicable charges.

• Subscriptionsrenew automatically for the stated period until cancelled. You can cancel before the next renewal to avoid being charged for the following period. Purchases made through a mobile app store may be governed by that store’s billing and cancellation rules.
• Coach fees set by a coach are between the coach and the client. Where CoachLive facilitates these payments, applicable platform fees will be disclosed.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with the terms presented at purchase and applicable law. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive purpose;
• Impersonate others, misrepresent your qualifications, or provide false information;
• Record, capture, or redistribute another user’s live session, image, or personal information without their consent;
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share;
• Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Use the Service to send spam or to solicit users off-platform in violation of these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload, including programs, notes, messages, and photos. You grant CoachLive a limited, worldwide license to host, store, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and provide the Service — for example, delivering a program you assigned to the client you assigned it to.

The Service itself, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by CoachLive and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our name or marks without permission.

CoachLive provides tools for fitness coaching. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and content in the Service is not a substitute for professional medical care.

Consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication. Exercise carries inherent risks. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for stopping and seeking help if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any specific fitness result will be achieved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoachLive and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to CoachLive in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing law jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [venue / jurisdiction], unless applicable law requires otherwise. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
